How to wrap a 10ft Trampoline?

Seriously.

Was thinking of getting a tarpaulin but not sure what size is big enough. It will be fully assembled with the enclosure around. I wouldn't be able to add that on after the unwrapping bit. What do you recommend?!

I would just get a huge bow and maybe fill it with balloons ?

When are you planning to assemble it? Ours took two evenings in a lovely warm summer, I wouldn’t fancy doing it at this time of year.

Put wrapping paper over the window to the garden and let them unwrap that instead.

Me neither, it is not a quick job!

Don't wrap it, silly! If you can, fling loads of fairy lights around it (I assume you are going to be assembling this thing outside in the frost and dark on the 24th like that John Lewis ad? Grin ) and then do the big reveal. Though I suppose that would depend on when you open big presents. Fairy lights would work if at crack of dawn (or 8.30am, frankly) less so if after lunch. Grin

Great present btw. No indoors clutter for starters!

Get a few paper tablecloths and wrap in those.

MincePieMum · 12/12/2018 17:58

We are getting a handyman to do it. The garden needs a bit of levelling as well so he will do all of it.

Idea about wrapping the window is genius!!!

For reference, we have a 12' octagonal one and it took three or four of us a couple of hours at least. And it's hefty. I honestly think it's something worth bribing a good friend with a bottle of something good to help with!

Oh, I want a wrapped window too. That sounds so lovely!

MincePieMum · 12/12/2018 18:00

Love the fairy lights too, I think I'll do a bit of both. It's actually being put up on 21st but we are away until late evening 23rd. So I'm hoping to get away without him seeing it!! Grin

Nope, just lazy! 😂😂

Villanellesproudmum · 12/12/2018 18:27

Can you get a double Christmas duvet cover and cut it open to create a huge sheet?

Mylittlepony374 · 12/12/2018 18:33

When we were little our parents put reindeer hoof prints (butcher provided ) in lawn around the trampoline and Santa's beard (cotton wool) had also got caught in the trampoline springs when he was setting it up. I still remember this in my 30s. It was the most exciting Christmas.
