Is Wednesday to early for Xmas shop?

My oh last day off before Xmas is Wednesday. Is that too early to get vegetables ect? I don't have a car and two kids so plan to get the Boxing Day stuff by foot a couple of days before.

That's almost a week. Couldn't your OH go on evening?

they might be all booked up but what about a delivery slot late one evening or early before work ?

I don't think its early im going to do mine on friday would rather beat the rush and actually get the bits i want .

I do this, buy everything I’ll need for a week plus all Christmas food and the day before Christmas Eve I will grab some fresh bits like milk fruit veg from a local shop never had a problem in the many years I have done this
