Beer gift?

I need two gifts, they can be the same thing, something beerish for around £15 each. I don't know them very well, one male one female. I just know they like to drink a lot of beer, lol. I've had a look at what's around but not being a beer drinker myself I don't know what's good and what's disgusting. Help!

The problem is beer varies so much and what one drinker likes another may not.

If your looking real ale type then do you know if they like dark ales or lighter ones?

Brewery tours! Look for a local one and get them a voucher, I did it last year for the men in my family

Do hotel chocolat still do chocolate beer? I've bought that as presents and it's been very well received.

If you can stretch the budget the whisk hampers Hogs Back Ploughman's box has gone down well too.

Also the supermarkets used to do nice gift packs of belgian beers like Leffe or Hoegarden. Whenever I see them I always think it would be a nice gift they're drunk in different glasses and you get them in the box.

We tend to give bottles from local breweries, especially for family members who don't live local to us.

Have a look what local micro breweries, specialist shops have. One of ours has a good selection of good quality Christmas packs with beer and glasses.

If they're enthusiastic beer drinkers, then in the nicest possible way, they'll be happy with anything ( except Budweiser, fosters, Carling, which isn't beer!) If there's a. Waitrose or Marks and Sparks nearby I could close my eyes, pick random beer bottles and know it would be fine. M & s here sell a beer called Jaipur, if you see it, buy it, I absolutely guarantee beery happiness! Good luck.
