Christmas cookie recipe

My son (12) is severely autistic and attends an autism specialist school. They are, frankly amazing.
My son has a passion for baking which his teacher encourages. I’d like to send in some Kilner jars filled with homemade Christmas cookies (I know homemade is frowned upon for teachers but I know his teacher would appreciate this).
I’d appreciate some nice recipe ideas please for cookies or similar. Thank you!

i like these sugar cookies. they are simple (we let the kids make them as cookies for santa) but they are tasty and look pretty when iced. they are also good if you do not know what the gift receiver's cookie preference is :)

These taste amazing but don't look particularly special www.asdagoodliving.co.uk/food/recipes/gooey-christmas-pudding-cookies
My Dc always like helping to make these www.oetker.co.uk/uk-en/recipe/r/chocolate-chip-christmas-pudding-cookies.html
These are easy, taste very festive and look good www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/147612/spicy-tree-biscuits
This was a recipe I discovered last year and will definitely be making again this year www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/white-chocolate-and-cranberry-cookies

Nigella's cranberry and white chocolate cookies. I skip the nuts, and use a whole packet of chocolate chips (I don't know if that's too much or too little according to the recipe).

I was looking for the Nigella recipe above me. They're amazing cookies. I'm doing them again this year!

One pack of chocolate chips is usually 100g, so 2/3 of the recipe amount.
