How to stop the jumper flashing?

I just picked up a Tesco Christmas jumper in a charity shop for my daughter that has some light up bits. But I can't work out how to turn them off! Do they turn off? Surely they must. I tried pressing them but they keep springing back into life

Is there a little battery pack that you can disconnect?

Not that I can find. I think each light has its own battery but they are all sewn up.

So, was it already flashing when you bought it? (Sorry, I have no further ideas: I'm just curious!)

Are they motion activated?

Wash it?

They were flashing in the shop. I think they are motion activated. That’ll be fun on Christmas jumper day at school!
