Hi all literally pulling my hair out with this.
My dss is 11 (going in 16 with his hormones kicking in) really stuck for stocking fillers, he doesnt believe in father Christmas any more but we've decided to still do a stocking. So far he has the usual Xmas theme chocs a Santa and some coins, a little lava lamp he wanted, a lynx set, some do not disturb I'm playing fortnite socks a gamer at work sign for his bedroom door, and a book, now I'm stumped, no clue what else to put in, the gifts were all only a few quid amazon/eBay bargains and chocs from Lidl therefore we haven't spent a load. He will be with his mum Xmas eve (thankfully as we need to build his new desk) and he is getting pjs off my gran and slippers off my aunt so don't want to put them in, any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Xx

My DS has similar but also: Toothbrush, pants, socks, a pooing sloth keyring, Lego brick head, Lego figure blind bag, now TV stick (freebie). I think that’s plenty, personally!

11yo boys are HARD to buy for!

YerAuntFanny · 10/12/2018 08:23

My 12yo has:

Big Toblerone
Bike water bottle and cage
Book
Bath bomb
Mini torch
Funky socks
Chocolate coins

DogMamma · 10/12/2018 08:44

My (dss) 11 year old isnt into his toys anymore, and I have to be careful with sweets and treats he is carrying a touch too much weight right now (I haven't pointed it out, I'm discreetly adjusting his diet as not to give him a complex) he also has ADHD and ODD therefore sugars can play havoc with him so has for a long time been limited to his intake of them, and he fully understands and accept it he doesn't he can be extremely nature for his age at times then he can be having a bad day and be very immature.
I can't fit a cage to his bike but I do like the new water canteen idea
Do they do boys bath bombs? And sensitive ones he has a eczema if so where could I get them from he loves a bath to the point I'm begging him to get out as I need to pre! Lol

My 11 year old loved toroid rings and the snake puzzle from smiggle

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 10/12/2018 10:54

Post-it notes
Top trumps game or similar
Clip-on Booklight
Mini panettone from Lidl (Christmas breakfast sorted!)

SagelyNodding · 10/12/2018 10:58

A cool keyring? Deck of cards usually goes down well here too... Some kind of stress ball /squeezy thing!? Good/novelty stationery? Set of screwdrivers was popular last year with my 10yo and stopped him from stealing mine!

Titsywoo · 10/12/2018 11:02

Bluetooth shower speaker is a good one - I've got one for my daughter as she is spending longer and longer in the shower the older she gets Grin

Titsywoo · 10/12/2018 11:03

Lovemusic33 · 10/12/2018 14:20

I would be careful with bath bombs if he has eczema, I can’t even walk into lush without my skin playing up.

Dd is a year older and has asked for a puzzle ball, both my dd’s Still like fidget spinners. Maybe a Xbox voucher/card? Gaming T-shirt? Headphones (we get through loads), disco light bulb?

YerAuntFanny · 10/12/2018 16:17

Bath bombs are suitable for boys and girls, we get ours from Twaburds soap company online as they don't flare up my eczema like Lush ones do. I also like that they have a rubber duck hiding inside :o

Nedzilla · 10/12/2018 16:20

I think what you have already added is enough actually. A stocking should be fun, relatively cheap, and things like a chocolate santa and a book fit the bill fine. If you go down the route of super fancy and expensive, remember it may set future stocking expectations!
