Any ideas if what to buy a lady who is pregnant with her first baby? It's a secret santa present and we have £20 to spend.

I do have some ideas but wanted to ask your opinions too. Thanks

I would go for chocolate. I was preg last Xmas and didn’t want clothes, smelliest, alcohol etc. You can’t go wrong with chocolate though. Alternatively a water bottle (I was thirsty all the time), an insulated coffee mug (so when baby is here she can still have a hot cuppa) or Giovanna Fletcher’s happy baby, happy Mum book. Please buy her something though and not the baby!

Night feed snacks would be nice-maybe a nice water bottle

This was one of the best presents I had when I was pregnant bloomandblossom.com/products/new-sleep-night-time-pillow-spray#

@longleggedlovely has some great ideas, I’m pregnant with no2 and would be over the moon with all of those. Definitely buy for mum and not baby. I wouldn’t have appreciated smellies when I was heavily pregnant with DD as my skin became so reactive and had no time to use them post birth. I bought myself a heated wheat bag from Sainsbury’s recently that’s a unicorn pug (not to everyone’s taste I know) which is amazing at easing back ache and helping me get off to sleep.

Going off piste here, but I'd ignore the fact she was pregnant and focus on what you would otherwise get her (except maybe if that would be a bottle of spirits or similar)! Both times I was pregnant I did reach a point that I got a bit bored of being 'the pregnant one' and just wanted to be me and treated like normal.

@Longleggedlovely - a nice insulated travel mug is such a good idea! Maybe one of those chilly bottles? They can be used hot and cold.

It was the best gift I received when my LO was born! The chilly bottles are fab but I’m not sure I could use them one handed and that is a must with a baby!

Clarins hand cream is really nice. Chocolate is also a great idea and I say this as a heavily pregnant woman😀😀😀😀.

What about a cinema voucher? After having my first DC one of the things I missed most was going to the cinema

Bumping for more answers! I have £30 to spend on Secret Santa for pregnant lady and no idea what to get!?

Lovely suggestions ladies. I agree that the present should definitely be for her rather than baby.

I've gone for a moisturiser, cosy socks, nice chocolates and a little Christmas tree decoration
