Hoping for some suggestions please for Christmas gifts. Budget between £15-£20 each. Usually get them lego sets but hoping to find something different this year. What Are your 8 & 10 year old's into?

Something from Smiggle for the girl.

Character pjs and dressing gown for both.

Swim bag, swimming costume and towel for both.

my 8 year old nephew wants one of these, so he can play football inside when it is raining.

my niece, 10, would like a make your own slime kit.

all the best x

Thanks for the suggestions! I've heard a lot about Smiggle on MN but have yet to go in a store. I think they would both love making slime so that's another great suggestion.

My 9yr old DD received this last year and loved it!

SasBel · 09/12/2018 18:07

Obviously it would be a shared gift.

My 9 year old has asked for the following in that budget
Rubik’s cube
Slinky from science museum
Top trumps football
Anything Pokemon related! Including colouring book.
Guinness book of records.

Home bargains do loads of cool slime things.

science museum stuff is a hit.

Football heroes books.

6 and 8 year old boys here
Both love smiggle - do lots of boys stuff too. One son has football money box and other has bluetooth speaker fidget spinner
Anything nerf, Lego, fortnite. Mini drone

My 10 year old girl would like - anything from smiggle! Bath bombs, slime ingredients and instructions. Book people do a good book and if your bought the ingredients she could make loads more than in a kit. Also science kit, fluffy pyjamas, gel pens, water colour pencils. I'm afraid I can't help with the boy!!

Smiggle is a good choice my boys love their things.
