For various reasons that would take too long to explain I am doing a seaside themed gift hamper for some of DH's relatives this year. So far I've got:
Garden lantern shaped like a lighthouse
Candle holder with sea scene on it (still need candle for this)
Sea salt chocolate
A tea towel with sea birds on

It's looking a bit bare still. Any other ideas? I'm stumped! Thank you!

Seashell photo frame (lots on eBay, some are nicer than others!)
Sticks of rock

I think we need to know why! Sounds bizarre.

The Range had some lovely seaside themed cushions/paintings/wall signs.
How about box of cones and some syrup/sprinkles and an icecream scoop. Icecream too if you don't have to travel to them.

You can get baskets of lovely shells on Amazon.

It was the only thing dd asked for when she was 3!

Stuff made with drift wood. The range has loads of beachy stuff in.

I’m sure you can still get white chocolate fish and chips, try a local shop that sells 1p & 2p sweets.

Have a look at the work of Bridget Wilkinson on Etsy - all seaside themed.

PunkAssMoFo · 08/12/2018 12:11

beach hut cushion or key holder

StripyDeckchair · 08/12/2018 12:52

Wonderful - thanks! Think I'll definitely go for a cushion cover and maybe some of these other suggestions too. Thank you!

Look at the RNLI online shop. I get my Christmas cards and calendar there every year and I think the shop has gifts as well.

StripyDeckchair · 08/12/2018 12:55

Ooh - love the Bridget Wilkinson coasters too.

Jar of cockles
Caviar & blinis

explodingkittensexpansion · 08/12/2018 14:32

Just make sure that everything is something that you would” be happy to have on display in your own home.

Etsy have some nice fused glass seascapes - what's the budget?

SexNotJenga · 08/12/2018 16:11

St eval sea salt candle

StripyDeckchair · 08/12/2018 16:12

Thanks all. RNLI and etsy in combination have done it. Sorted! Xmas Smile

@explodingkittens - honestly it's not interesting. It involves a bit of a complicated conversation with family members about how to do Christmas this year that really is quite dull.

So do they really want their home to be seaside themed?

GlomOfNit · 08/12/2018 23:52

Please try to avoid buying tat stuff with 'exotic' shells on, or bags of shells. A lot of them come from unsustainable sources and involve large-scale violation of marine environments.
