What is on our Christmas list?

I need inspiration. I am struggling with a list for myself this year. I don’t do beauty or make up. I got some nice hand cream and bath stuff for my birthday a month ago I haven’t started yet.

DH is strictly a last minute shopper and limited to John Lewis/handful of shops so anything that will require planning ahead or any type of organisation is out.

I have thought about asking for a puffer jacket/coat for none work days when we are out in the park with the kids but other than that I’m really stuck!

What would you like for Christmas?

Boots
Tkmaxx gift voucher
Dressing gown/pjs/slippers

... and please don’t say ‘a suprise’ as I just cannot handle them!

If he doesn’t have a list he buys for himself (complicated recipe books, big manly bags, oversize jumpers) and thinks I’ll like them.

Wouldn’t you prefer John Lewis vouchers to pick something yourself?

New laptop/phone?

I’m no help - I just want a dressing gown and pjs.

I’ve asked for a dressing gown and some new towels, not very exciting! If it’s going to be JL would be buy underwear if you gave him sizes/styles? I love new underwear. Something for the house? Nice candles? Perfume?

My OH is literally the worst gift buyer ever, so I suspect what I’ll actually get is another gift voucher. I’d love a nice surprise but no chance!

I asked for a dressing gown last year, and for theatre tickets for my birthday.

I would prefer vouchers but he says it’s not a present. I don’t need a new phone or laptop.

Maybe I’ll just ask for gloves and chocolates!

I think that’s what I’ll do. If it’s just JL he will do a click and collect anyway just hope stuff is in stock. (He has been known to miss delivery or wait so late to buy that stuff sold out).

Lots of nice concessions in John Lewis, I'd be well up for that as a present. I tell DH never ever to buy me clothes wish he'd tell MIL

I've asked for a universal DVD player. Nighdresses. Shampoo which is more expensive as I have a scalp irritation to normal brands. Amazon vouchers. I like the idea of going to Buckingham palace or Disney on ice but will ask for that next year so can take dd.
