Hi, can anyone recommend some lovely crackers? (The kind you pull, not the ones you eat with cheese). I find them all very dull with the same gifts in each year. We are a family of adults and teenagers. Thanks.

We have John Lewis musical ones for this year. Previous years I've bought my own gifts/scratch cards and opened one end of cheap ones to add my gift.

I got a set of racing robin crackers one year. They were just intended to be a bit of a laugh, but I have to say they went down a storm and the whole family actually did get involved in racing them at the dining table. I think they do other racers now.

I have bought Hotel Chocolat ones, 3 for £12. Think you get a hat, joke and three HC chocolates.

Ridleys make great crackers without the plastic tat. I've got these for Christmas Day groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Ridleys-Magic-Party-Crackers/284317011 and these for our second Christmas dinner with DH's family

wentworth do beautiful little wooden puzzles in crackers. I think today is the last day to order for Christmas.

Just ordered racing penguins, thanks for the link. The RSPB also benefit, so thanks.
