Slide to digital convertor

Does anyone have any recommendations for something I can buy for DH to view a load of old slides on. His dad passes away young and he and his mum haven't seen all of the old slides in years. I'd like something that converts the slides but also like us to view the pictures on the telly...

Any recommendations?

I looked into this and the quality can be pretty poor and it’s very time consuming to convert them yourself. If it’s not a huge number of slides it could be worth getting them digitized professionally.
