Hi so first off i feel terrible as I only discovered the letter in my son's bookbag this morning about being a reindeer in the school nativity/play.

My problem is they have asked me to provide a brown tshirt by tomorrow 😪 now I know I should have spotted this sooner but does anyone know where I can get a brown tshirt from??

I have looked on all the online stores I can find and Amazon is showing nothing that will be here tomorrow.

Can any of you lovely mumsnettets help??

Dylon and dye a plain one brown - you can get Dylon in a dispenser which you just put into the washing machine - might be easier and quicker than finding a brown t.

Email school, tell them you only just found the letter and will get a t shirt by the start of next week. At this stage they will only be collecting costumes to see what gaps they have.

Or ask on local Facebook if anyone has one left over from a previous year. DC never wore brown t-shirts for any other reason than being a reindeer!

Thanks for the ideas.

Have put the word out on Facebook but no luck yet.

Will speak to the teachers this afternoon but the play is on Monday 🙈

I never thought of dye!! Thank you. Failing everything else I shall dye a white top on Saturday.

If you have a Primark nearby they usually have them (I used adult ones and cut them down). I have half a dozen along with brown leggings in my loft from there. (used to run kids drama classes)

Would a sweatshirt work rather than a t shirt?
Asda have this school one for £2, we often get this type for crafting etc.
