Family board game suggestions needed

We always try and get DD (15) and DS (8) a board game that we can all at least attempt together over the festive season. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what their family likes? We have all the usual like monopoly, cluedo etc so something a bit different would be great.

@heather1 we have exploding kittens but couldn’t get our head around the rules!! Maybe we need to try again.

I’m another one that doesn’t seem to get exploding kittens. I’m pretty sure we are playing it properly but although it’s midly amusing, it’s not as funny as I thought it would be.

Not board games but dobble and pass the pigs are favourites here.

I asked similar and a lot of people recommended Labyrinth.
Other popular ones seemed to be ticket to ride, Carcassone and family trivial pursuits.

There is a simplified version of labyrinth called labyrinth duel that my younger DC enjoy.

Unstable Unicorns is a great game. It's a card game like exploding kittens but much more involved. You have to build a stable of 7 unicorns to win while other use magic cards to stop you.
