Anyone used anything good this year so far? Preferably with the grid printed on the back ?
Just panic bought some Sainsbury’s stuff but I don’t like it much and need some FC specific paper for each child...

Bugger. Just did an order there and don’t fancy paying more postage!

WHSmith has 50% off lots of their luxury wrapping papers. They have some good quality Kraft ones and I'm pretty sure they all have the cutting guide on the back. These www.whsmith.co.uk/products/whsmith-luxury-kraft-glittered-25th-december-christmas-wrapping-paper-2m-pack-of-2-rolls-/39398819

I really like M & S for wrapping paper, it has grids and is stronger than a lot I've used previously.

PersonaNonGarter · 05/12/2018 05:31

John Lewis have gorgeous ones.

claraschu · 05/12/2018 05:39

Oxfam has some lovely ones.

CarrieBlu · 05/12/2018 05:43

We always get M&S paper.

Littlelambpeep · 05/12/2018 05:43

I got beautiful paper in the National Trust gift shop. But ikea is meant to be great too if you are near.

I’ve gone for Cox and Cox this year, I just couldn’t find any designs I really liked elsewhere. Some of the WHSmith ones are nice but the ones I liked were glittery and I couldn’t bear the mess. I like the 5 dollar shake ones in John Lewis too but we don’t have one nearby.
Always felt Cox and Cox were too expensive but tbh 12.50 for 10 metres isn’t THAT extortionate and it is sooo lovely. Probably not for kids presents though!

I’ve stuff to collect at M and S so will get some there thank you. Can’t pay £12/ roll much as I’d love it! Swoon paper!!

WHSmith, 3 for 2 and all have the grid lines. £3.49 for normal lines and £4.49 for luxury I work there please God buy some paper we have SO MUCH STOCK

Lovemusic33 · 06/12/2018 20:02

I have used paper from matalan, not sure why people pay £12 a role for something that’s going to be chucked away.

wizzywig · 06/12/2018 20:06

Is paperchase any good for you op?

Fstar · 06/12/2018 21:20

Aldi do nice paper and had grid on back in prev years, also really impressed with b and m and matalan paper

WindyWednesday · 06/12/2018 21:22

Wilkco is strong paper.

CakeNinja · 06/12/2018 23:49

I also buy Cox & Cox, the last few years I’ve had the navy with gold stars. It’s beautiful!

Fumnudge · 06/12/2018 23:57

WhSmith paper is lovely but it has their branding on the back so don't use it for FC presents (lesson learned last year)

Polkapjs · 08/12/2018 09:24

Can’t get to a paper chase. Went to m and s but wasn’t keen on the selection at the store I went to. Not much choice at all - weirdly. Thickness and the lines is what I need! Next stop Aldi?
