North West Christmas Markets

Thinking of taking a day off work in the next couple of weeks and going to one of the Christmas Markets.

We’ve done Manchester in previous years, but last year I wasn’t that impressed, and it was horrifically busy! I know “they’re all the same” but I’d love to go to some really nice festive ones for a mooch (and a Baileys hot chocolate).

Thinking of Chester, Knutsford or possibly getting the train down to Birmingham. Has anyone been to any particularly good ones around the North of England?

I want to go to one too, I have heard birmingham one is really good.

Chatsworth markets are nice! It’s £10 for weekday parking and £20 for weekend parking though. I don’t think knutsford has a regular Christmas market...

OOOh I'm from cheshire but didnt know Kutsford did them? I love Knutsford. Apparently Prestbury do a cute little market. The one in Mcr is awful, so busy and its full of over priced tat.

I'd still recommend Manchester. Me and dm took a Thursday off work and it was so much quieter and a lot more pleasant moseying around

I may be making Knutsford up off the top of my head Grin I just spotted someone I know on Facebook had been at some markets there the other weekend.

We did briefly go to the Birmingham one last year, but only stopped for half an hour as we were in a rush.

I used to love Manchester, I could be tempted to go on a quieter weekday, but I feel like trying somewhere new Smile
