Jars of fruit in booze

Has anyone seen any of these this year please?

Usually see them in Waitrose... cherries in Kirsch, peaches in brandy etc.

If you have a Dobbies garden centre near you, I saw a few different types a couple of weeks ago.

I bought some cherries in Marachino syrup (Luxardo) from Lakeland .
I'm planning to make a Black Forest type gateaux

I've bought them as gifts from various places and also been given. They look absolutely gorgeous but they aren't all that special really.

Blackberries in gin and cherries in kirsch in Tesco.

We had bumper crops this year so needed to do something with the pears, plumbs, quince and cherries. The quince have gone into quince brandy rather than drunken fruit but the rest are just wallowing in Kilner jars.
