Real IKEA trees

IKEA are selling real trees for £25, with a £20 voucher to use in the shop in the new year. Has anyone had one of their real trees? What variety are they? Are they any good?!

Yes I've had one every year for about the last 4 years I think. Always been good quality. I think they are a bit like Nordman Firs? Not exactly sure, but they have the more rounded needles not the sharp ones that are prone to dropping! They are normally about 5ft, but can get taller or smaller if you dig around. At my Ikea there's no sections for size etc, it's just find one you like and pay. I went yesterday for mine and it was manic, the poor staff couldn't get them out of the netting quick enough before people were pouncing on them! I would recommend.

We got one this year - it's a beautiful tree and I'm really impressed! Just keeping my fingers crossed it lasts as well as the ones we normally have.
