Hi, I'm fairly new to this but I thought I'd ask for some advice. Long story short next Christmas I will not be able to share access to my child on Christmas day for the first time due to other arrangements without dragging her in the car for an extended time (which I think is unreasonable) meaning I will be separated from my other children also while driving the 4 to 5 hours round trip. I have mentioned to my ex parter that I would like to have separate Christmases and am willing to sacrifice Christmas day (to be amicable) so she can have our child and we'll have a 2nd Christmas either before or after. This will have to be the arrangement from now on but she has point blank refused this idea and I'm not sure what to do about it.
