Mince pie cases

If I make mince pies in little foil cases, do I need to grease them first? I'd have thought not?

No , the pastry has enough fat in it , they'll ping out

Are you freezing them (raw or cooked) or doing nearer the time?

They're for a gift and I suspect I'll bake them a couple of days before I give them away so won't freeze.

If I can be arsed I might make a load of extras and freeze them uncooked.
