Do you have any magical Christmas memories either from your Christmas or your child's Christmas.
Personally mine is something that happened to me and then to my DD.
So when I was like 7 or 8 I remember waking up in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve. It was the time when the presents from "Santa" were being put out. Anyway when I went downstairs to go get a drink I remember seeing my dad dressed as Santa putting out the presents. And this was a High quality suit. I remember him turning to me and it looked like one of the most realistic Santa's I've seen. I remember him putting his finger on his lips to tell me to stay quiet as he continued to put out the presents.
Anyway this was around the time some kid at school told me Santa wasn't real and when I saw this it made me believe more than ever because I'd seen him. I'm so greatful my dad did that.
And I remember my dad did this back when my DD was having her not believing in Santa phase due to some kid telling her he wasn't real (there's at least one in every school it feels like). and I remember her being so happy and excited that Christmas. She still says it was the best Christmas of her life.
What made it even more magical was he had a friend of his write a note (so the handwriting would be something she didnt recognise) which I can't remember but I do remember he wrote something like "Rudolph loved your homemade reindeer food" which she loved.
So does anyone else have any magical Christmas memories they want to share. I'm so excited can't wait til next week when I put my tree up
