Present for new boyfriend

I have been with my boyfriend for the grand total of three weeks. I obviously want to get him something for Christmas but have no idea what. I want to get something that says “I care about you alot” but not “I am madly in love with you”. We have agreed a budget of £30 although I could go over this a little bit.

Please help mumsnet!

Good that you have agreed on a budget. Years ago, I remember buying a new boyfriend a voucher for a massage at a nice spa near his work as he had been really stressed. I presented it in a little gift bag with matching tissue paper. He handed over an unwrapped video (it was that long ago) of The Ali G show. Awkward.

Does he have any hobbies? Perhaps a nice hardback book/biography. Or something jokey from Firebox.

Something personal but not too much. I bought my now hubby a watch-box as I know he likes his watches. We had only been together a month before our first Christmas.

Maybe a voucher? For the both of you to something together, date night or something or maybe a trip to theme park or something along those lines a nice day together!
