How much £££ to give?

11 year old niece wants money for Xmas as she's not sure on a specific gift.

What do you consider to be the right amount? Don't want to be stingy or OTT.

£30?

Do you have a usual budget? I spend roughly £20 on my nieces and nephews but I do have rather a lot of them. If one wanted cash it would be the same as usual budget

Whatever you would normally spend on her present.

She's my only niece so historically I've probably been over generous but things are financially tight for me this year so yes I think £30 seems fair.

But knowing me I'll still get her bits & bobs too!

Thanks.

I go for a £20 note if giving cash to nieces or nephews. I tend to spend anywhere between £15 and £25 on presents for them depending on what I buy.
If you're buying bits and bobs then £20 is more than enough IMO

I’d say 20/30 and maybe a selection box so she has something to open
