I have a several nephews to buy for aged 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. We don't see most of them often as they live some distance away so I never know what they have or their current interests. Most of them are getting a little old for the old faithful box of lego. Do I admit defeat and bung some money in a card? or does anyone have brilliant suggestions preferably about the £10-£20 mark.

Ah. Mugs can be fun, and then stuffed with sweeties. I bought some of my nephews ones that have a little pocket for biscuits. they are quite fun, I got them from Amazon. Nice shark one.

vouchers for cinema or Costa for older ones?
funky, mismatched socks
cool LED colour changing lamps. you can get these in all sorts of shapes and they arent very expensive. DS has a pacman one and a Subbuteo one.

I always buy an Amazon gift card for my nephews. They can spend on books or games or whatever then.

Ds (10) is hard to buy for but generally loves money. I have nephews and nieces of similar ages do give them all £10 each, I know they get plenty of other gifts from family so they'll have the best of both worlds.

I'm leaning towards cash /amazon voucher in a nice mug with some biscuits or sweets.

iTunes or vouchers for any consoles they have (PS4 etc)

RickOShay · 29/11/2018 09:24

Grumble that’s exactly what mine are getting Grin

GrumbleBumble · 29/11/2018 09:26

I might even bung in a memory stick/set of ear buds.

Don't get them iTunes vouchers - I learnt the hard way that most kids don't bother with it now and use Spotify
