I am trying to keep things simple this Christmas and avoid buying “stuff” just for the sake of it, but nonetheless I know DD will still enjoy having a stocking.

Please help me with some ideas that are not make up!

I've bought my teen some magnetic slime (comes with a magnet that gets swallowed by the slime/putty)
Or how about:

A thermos drink cup
Ear phones
Beanie hat
Fish eye for her phone
Phone case

Funky socks are a good idea!

Yes, I think books are always a good present but I let dd choose books throughout the year (anything to encourage reading!) and she has Apple Music on her phone... she sounds spoiled, but she really isn’t!

Slide rule from an antique store.

I mean she might think that’s lame but they were completely obsolete when I was 12 and I loved that kind of thing.

A kids activity tracker? Like the cheap version of a Fitbit? I would have loved one of those at that age and you can get them for under £20 now!
