Looking for a decent brand that they all wear at 14/15/16.

Mac is pretty expensive for such a little amount, also not sure of what I would get.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

What products are you looking for?

I've bought my nearly 15 year old Anastasia Beverly Hills subculture pallet.

Also glossier paint blush.

SilverDoe · 26/11/2018 19:41

The drugstore brands are catching up in quality and follow the youngsters trends very well - brands like Sleek Makeup and NYX are among some good ones. They’re also much more affordable than MAC!

Prizepudding · 26/11/2018 19:48

Morphe eye palettes seem to be really popular, my dd asked for one for her birthday and it looked good quality. They have 25% off today and the prices are more reasonably priced than mac and urban decay

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/11/2018 19:51

My teen daughter really likes glossier, 20% off at the moment and I don’t know, but if you use my link you might get another 10% on top (not sure though, it’s very unclear)

Look fantastic often has good deals too

ChippyMinton · 26/11/2018 20:08

ELF (online cheaper than in store), Make Up Revolution (says DD (14))

Smithy01 · 26/11/2018 20:08

Morphe very reasonable and very popular with teens. (Used by make-up artists) Tarte cosmetics very good, not cheap but often have good deals.

FourFlapjacksPlease · 26/11/2018 20:11

My DD asked for the James Charles Morphe palette (she is nearly 14) and some Glossier products.

Shadow1986 · 26/11/2018 20:15

Look up revolution - they have some amazing deals on still.

Redken24 · 26/11/2018 20:16

Try sleek they have some good sets at boots the now.

bdyekdo · 26/11/2018 20:18

I second revolution. pretty sure you can get quite a few bits for £4/5 each. Also superdrug also often does 3 for 2 on their products

loopy42 · 26/11/2018 20:19

Revolution from Superdrug are pretty decently priced.

Morphe, urban decay and Anastasia Beverly Hills are top brands asked for by my DSD

MrsChollySawcutt · 26/11/2018 20:30

Anastasia yes, especially for brow products.

Morphe for palettes.

Tarte for their shape tape concealer and again for palettes. They have some good Cyber Monday deals going.

Benefit is still liked by my DD and her friends but not as popular as it was I think.

MAC still very popular, some must have iconic lip colours like Ruby Woo and Velvet Teddy.

Zoeva for brush sets.

christmaschristmaschristmas · 26/11/2018 20:39

I'd get a morphe eyeshadow palette and some of their brushes - they're really excellent.

LucheroTena · 26/11/2018 21:30

They’re all loving morphe round here. The other day they were queuing outside like they used to do with Hollister in its heyday.

Sparkygal · 26/11/2018 23:06

Fab thanks.

Ordered some bits from ELF (dd had already sent me a link for there and they had 60% off today) and a morph palette she had mentioned. Will also keep note of the others for her birthday in March. Thanks ladies x
