Does anyone know if Smyths Toys deliveries arrive in a plain box? I normally get things delivered to work but due to start a new job and worried parcels will arrive when DC are around!

I've had 2 deliveries recently and they've both been in plain brown boxes.

Thank you!!!

I've had ones from them where it was in a brown box and one where it wasn't so maybe ask them? It could have been bad luck that I had one 'uncovered' but best to be sure if they're coming from the north pole!

Plain Brown Boxes 🙂

Elphaba17 · 26/11/2018 13:18

Ruggerhug do you mean the boxes had the smyths logo on them, or that they were bigger items just unboxed ie a bike?

Stompythedinosaur · 26/11/2018 13:48

My delivery was in a plain brown box but it said smyths in quite large text on the label.

I had a problem with Smyths NOT delivering DDs present in a brown box. She saw the box when next door kindly but unfortunately brought it round and so knew exactly what it was. I spent the next month denying all knowledge but it was too late. Christmas was not ruined however!

Elphaba17 it was a trike in a box(that it came in) that was in no way covered up/disguised. I'm in ROI if that makes any difference but it could just have been a one off from them.

An update, parcel arrived today in a plain brown box Smileit did say Smyths Toys on the label though, may be worth bearing in mind if your DC are particularly eagle eyed.
