I want to wrap presents in brown paper this year.

Can anyone recommend where to get the paper from and what weight of paper works best.

Thanks

I’ve bought a large roll from WHSmith and it’s nice and thick. I’m jazzing it up with red ribbon and sparkly tags.

Amazon sell a big roll. Couple it with red and white festive string and some plain tags and you have 100% biodegradable wrapping and a lovely traditional look for your prezzies.

Post office in my corner shop does rolls of it.

Ebay for sure. Just bought 10m of quality paper on a roll for £3.49 with free postage. Will be delivered wed.

I bought paper and ink pads and stamps to make my wrapping paper. I haven't used the paper yet because I also got a parcel from Amazon that had loads of brown paper in it so I used that up first! I'm really chuffed with my efforts, I did some wrapping yesterday.

The range

debbiewest0 · 27/11/2018 23:31

Yes I’ve been using the Amazon paper too as they put so much in the parcels and it’s fairly thick. Few stamps on it looks great x

Amazon - I got a massive rolls 3 years ago and I am still using it this year. Think I only paid about £7/8 for it and its fab quality.

I then use red/white twine or pull bows to decorate.

I use brown paper for dc Santa presents, it's easy to match up if you run out!
I bought big rolls from Amazon. 20m for about a fiver.

Nodancingshoes · 28/11/2018 19:08

I bought brown paper from Poundland. It's not very thick but looks fine. Decorated with real ribbons and paper tags

Nodancingshoes · 28/11/2018 19:12

Also used bows that I will reuse
