Can you help me with 'fun presents please

So my dc are almost sorted apart from a couple of 'fun' presents. Dts (ds's) are 12 and I know that altho very grateful for their coat, Alexa, clothes and cash, they are going to miss the fun presents that they can play with on Xmas day while dinner is cooking.
I always put a family board game in the xmas eve box so am looking for a couple of not too expensive ideas for things to occupy them over the festive period. If they will also engage the 3 yr old dd then so much the better!!

Are they good at models? I have bought DS a Timberkit from amazon. Its a miniature version of a beach crawling sculpture but there are a variety of them

Cheap as chips balloon helicopters are brilliant fun. Dd2 usually gets one in her stocking. Which reminds me I've not bought this years one yet.
