Present ideas for almost 6 year old boy

Struggling a bit for presents for DS.

He’s getting a remote controlled car and a chrome book so far. Chrome book was bought a couple of months ago when on sale and they use them a lot at school, so he can do educationey stuff on it. Have asked him what he wants, but some stuff he already has so don’t want to be buying him another version of things. We’re very into board games so he’s got another board game too, but just wondering what other people are buying?

My dgs is same age. He wants an Imaginext Robo Batcave so that's what he's getting. He also loves Lego.

My just 6 year old has asked for the Thomas and friends Superstation.
FC will get books, wallet, Lego blind bag and a train. Oh and chocolate of course.

DS got a marble run at that age which was very popular. Also the Imaginext Batman stuff, I think that's particularly popular with 6 year olds!

If he enjoys lego then the Lego City range is great. I know Lego can be expensive but imo with the City stuff you get more for your money than some of the 'character' ranges. Other construction type toys he likes are Zoobs and k'nex.

Hexbugs, hot wheels, jigsaw puzzles, box of art and craft stuff.

Always books.

Mine wants so much stuff... maybe we watch too many adverts!!

Ds2 who will be 6 in January is getting a Kindle fire as his main present. Also:

He's getting a next size bike for his birthday.

His Christmas list reads:
