at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park? I'm wondering how much to budget for.

Went to McDonald's by Marble Arch so about £15! Grin Winter wonderland is so overpriced!

PhilomenaButterfly · 25/11/2018 15:06

That's always a possibility! 😂

Hard rock is across the road :@) depends what you are thinking. My son enjoyed a waffle for about £4.

£6 on churros
£5 pint of cider
£3-6 per person per ride
£4-10 for those light up wands
We didn't eat there but a seen a sign for chips £3 small £4.50 large just to give you an idea.

Enjoy!!

Thanks everyone!

The plan was get there before it opens, see Santa, go on a couple of rides, have some kind of lunch, like from a burger van type place? Also, do they do food that DC who only like McDonald's will eat?

We went yesterday and there are so many food places with lots of choices from fish and chips, burgers, halloumi sticks to crepes donuts etc. Would say most hot food was from £6 and portion chips £3.

We had an amazing day and did 4 activities so spent a lot !! But magical ice kingdom and cirque berserk were well worth it especially.

PhilomenaButterfly · 26/11/2018 10:46

That's not too bad choccy, thanks. 😊

I'm not sure if my 7yo with ADHD would be impressed with the Magical Ice Kingdom or any of the shows. As we have very little money and our main reason for going is to see Father Christmas, we're planning Father Christmas, 2 rides each, lunch, home.

Have you checked what time santa is open from if you are going early? I think rides are £3 each which you get tokens for from any of the many token booths.
Hope you have a great time. They do bag searches and you can't take open bottles of drink in but sealed ones seemed ok.

PhilomenaButterfly · 26/11/2018 19:12

Yes, from 10am.

The itinerary now is:

Arrive before 10

See Santa

DD goes skating at 12

DS2 goes on rides

Lunch

Home

Sounds a good plan before it gets too busy enjoy.

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/11/2018 10:03

Well, yes, and you can't pre-book Santa, so we're hoping to be close to the head of the queue! I've booked the skating. DD's never been on an open air rink before. 😊
