Gift ideas for 12yr old boy

What have you bought or intend on buying for your 12 (nearly 13) yr old males in your family?
DS has asked for a new phone so that will be his main gift but it doesn't look much. I have just ordered him some sweets/candy from Amazon USA, some calvin klein undies and a couple of t shirts.
Can anyone give me some inspiration please?

Does he have a favourite sports team you can buy him some merchandise from??

Mine had asked for an Apple Watch... we’ve agreed on a garmin watch instead (on the condition I can sell last years cozmo now!)
I went through the 4 Christmas gift idea with him and it’s really made him think k if things he would really like. So his watch he needs, something he wants he’s still thinking about.. T-shirt and dressing gown to wear and a physics book he wanted (infinite monkey cage book as he loves their pod casts)

He likes Real Madrid and Gareth Bale, I never thought to get him something related to them.

He is very good at math and science, think I will look into that book Poppiesway1
