Anyone ever tried one? Something like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MSKTBR8/ref=ascdff_B01MSKTBR857083265/?tag=googshopuk-21&creative=22146&creativeASIN=B01MSKTBR8&linkCode=df0&hvadid=205353469567&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3480214140682494693&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006852&hvtargid=pla-433265563388

I'd love to hang a wreath on our glass front door, can't use an over-door hanger as the door is too thick, so wondered if this would work? I don't want it falling down all the time!

I've used command hooks before when e were renting and they were brilliant. It stayed up for all of the time we were in the house! Buying one this year too so we don't damage our new front door.

like this

They didn’t work for us so saw a hack online if you buy a cheap plastic hook that you can stick on upside down at the top of the inside of your door then you can loop the string of the wreath over it

MyArris · 25/11/2018 08:02

My door is too thick so I used this tip instead hook and ribbon

People would nick it where I live if I just used a hook!

MissMarplesKnitting · 25/11/2018 08:03

I have a door knocker and wire mine onto that

The suction ones are rubbish unreliable.

Those 3M ones are brilliant , really strong and no damage , just follow the directions on apply/remove .

Another vote for the 3M command hooks. We've used it several years now on our glass door.

The hook and ribbon works a treat Smile

Thanks everyone. I don't have a door knocker sadly, so the 3M hook and ribbon it is!
