Just really lost this year, my daughter hasn't really asked for anything...

An £8.99 plastic horse she's seen in a local garden centre.! That's it 🙄

Don't have a massive budget but it's bigger than £8.99!

£50 total maybe a bit more

Can anyone help?

Exploding kittens fabulous card game , sew cool and extra fabric kit (we got for 19 on offer).

Books to read nice pens and writing books.

I second exploding kittens - my DD11 loved it so much I have bought her the expansion pack this year (she’s 13 now). Ditto lovely notebooks and pens, also Klutz paper fashions were a big hit at that age.

Can someone explain exploding kittens? Mine loves board games but can be a nightmare when she loses (asd)

Sallycinnamon1974 · 24/11/2018 22:35

My daughter is 10 and she likes
Pens that draw on glass
Whiteboards
Carrot soft toys from Aldi
Pastel highlighters (mildliners)
Lego
Guinness world records book
There is a strin* stationary theme going on..l one of her favourite presents from the last few years was a laminator

Another vote for slime , off to research exploding kittens.
This tween age is a nightmare to buy for , to old for toys , to young for make up etc

Namechange8471 someone else said it’s like Uno (which I’ve not played so can’t verify) - basically a card game that’s a mix of luck and strategy. The rules are quite easy to pick up. My eldest DD13 loves it because she wins 95% of the time; youngest DD7 refuses to play against her because she knows her sister will most likely win, but she will happily play me or DH knowing it can go either way (and when she was younger we would sometimes let her win - it is possible to throw the game, but equally sometimes they can get you by the short n curlies and there ain’t nothing you can do!)

Thank you all that's really helpful....but exploding kittens??? I'm off for a google now 😂
