Tesco or Asda have Christmas socks around that for a single pair? In fact I got a pair for a male cousin in M&S for £3.50

Poundland had lots of novelty gifts in. Some small boxes of chocolates etc.

Or a mug wrapped with some nice biscuits.

Cheap glass with miniature alcohol bottle. (Asda had some glasses for under £1 or Ikea if you have one close!)

I'm assuming you just wanted a token gift not something great as £3.50 won't get a fantastic present!
