What's on your cheese board this Christmas? I'm looking forward to the usual Brie, Stilton and extra strong Cheddar but would love some other ideas.
Also looking for recipes or links to any particularly good chutneys to enjoy with my cheeseboard.

Red Fox red Leicester
Port Salut
M&S Cornish cruncher with Diablo chilli
Brie
Caboc

That'll do nicely 😀

For those fans of Red Fox, try Red Storm *drool

I’m so happy this year, I have found some Y Fenni cheese. It’s a local cheese made in Abergavenny and has mustard seed in, its lush but a couple of years ago the factory had a fire or something and I haven’t been able to find it since. Went into Morrison’s in Newport and they had it this year so I’ve bought 2 packs and everyone is under orders
Notmto touch it until xmas!!

Black bomber, Stilton, Brie, probably a milder cheddar and something with fruit/pickled onion/chives in it!

Ooh that Y Fenni sounds nice. Just reminded me I'll have to have a look for some cheeses when we go to Cardiff Christmas market tomorrow.

I bought Red Storm a while ago and it was lovely but cant remember where I got it from ?

I think it may of been Waitrose but just got the regular one last night.

One year we had the Thomas Fudge biscuits as thought they would be different and they were awful. Same as M+S . We went back to the box of mixed crackers and/or water biscuits/poppy seed biscuits. We had Asda's mixed box this week and they were quite nice.

Last night we had a French stick type thing and was nice for a change.

I like onion relish, grapes or cranberry jelly with cheese as well

I have plenty of cheese being delivered on 20 Dec. I've got Blackstick and Danish blue, Lancashire, Abergavenny goats', Brie, Comte and Welsh Slate Cavern-Aged cheddar. I have a range of chilli, garlic and chive and other cheddars in the fridge already. I may get more yet too. I need a red cheese. Might find a Red Fox too.

The cheese board is maybe my favourite course!

Loads of cheeses I love here, especially Epoisses, Beaufort and vacherin. I also love tomme de chevre and a big, stinky blue of almost any name!

Some sliced apple (perfect for the cheddars), grapes, maybe some dried figs.

Every Christmas I make the river cottage Christmas chutney that really isn’t difficult. I sterilise small mason jars (also an easy task) and take some with me as gifts when I am asked to people’s houses.

I also make these super simple oatcakes.. be warned you will never enjoy shop bought ones again though!

If you like Comte/Gruyère, try and get your hands on some Etivaz. It's gorgeous.
