Stuck for ideas for 15year old ds

Hi everyone this is my first post on the Christmas board :)
I don't usually have any problems knowing what to get for ds but it's becoming harder as he is getting older.

Just so you know the details. Ds is 15 and will be 16 in March. He has Aspergers and OCD which is currently managed and due to several issues over the years regarding food he put lots or weight on from the age of 9/10.
This year so far he has lost 5st 5lb doing SW and going to the gym and he's also a football fanatic and has a season ticket for his team.

His dad ( were separated ) has lots of money and tends to go OTT with stuff for him ( buys him Tom Ford aftershave for example ) and is very into names.
Ds isn't majorly fussed about designer clothes but I know that I would never in the past considered clothes as he was a nightmare to take shopping as was very big and also has size 14 feet.

Any ideas please? Apart from new headphones for his Xbox one he doesn't need anything tech wise. He has everything.

I have a dd who is almost 8 and I could go on forever with ideas for her. I have around £500 each for them for Christmas which i save via the credit union.

Thanks so much.

To clarify, ds has always got new clothes for Christmas and Boxing Day but I was thinking about nicer things as presents? He likes Hugo Boss.

Has he got any special interests/hobbies?

Zoflorabore · 23/11/2018 07:21

Thanks for replying, he loves football and there is a third shirt available for our team that he likes so thinking that may be good?

He is now into keeping fit ( has a punch bag at home only ) as goes to gym. Wondering if anything gym like may be good?

He also loves Fortnite Grin

He might like a FitBit or similar, then. It'll track all his exercise even just a walk. Can also log food and weight if he wants to. Good for seeing progress and just keeping generally active for his fitness. Then you could get a healthy eating recipe book with some good meal ideas that he could try out that you could perhaps cook together sometimes.

On Amazon there are some fun Fortnite things
Favorite football team strip
If he does weights some weights gloves ?

coolcrispwinter · 23/11/2018 07:31

Oh and if he's not got them already gaming bean bag.

Regarding fitness he might like some running gear. Suitable headphones, running belt, shoes etc. Couch 2 5k app. Good for in between gym times and very flexible, can do it still if you all are away from home.

We've got my16yr old a custom made remote control for his PS4. He's designed the colour, shape, added extra buttons to do various new moves.

Zoflorabore · 23/11/2018 07:56

Thanks all these are all brilliant ideas :)

I especially like the idea of a custom remote.

has he got a pull-up bar? like this

Would he be interested in outdoor gear? tent, backpack, compass etc
Sessions at a climbing wall, dry ski slope, whatever you have locally.

Amazon have black Friday deals on under armour today. My ds15 wears this for the gym.

Also got him a gaming chair for the gaming room!

Reaa · 23/11/2018 09:14

Decent headphones have a look at Razor and Turtle beach

Atalune · 23/11/2018 09:15

Skipping rope
Kettle bell
Gaming mic
Board game? Carcasson, labarybth?
Micro diner towel for the gym
Good sport socks
Good trainers for the gym
Gym bag

Reaa · 23/11/2018 09:16

As someone else suggested a Fitbit could be good. Argos have the Fitbit blaze in Black Friday offers.

Reading with interest as I have no clue what to get for DS1 either! He's just had his birthday and got everything he wanted then. He detests shopping, refuses to browse amazon for more than two minutes and has everything he needs/wants for his hobbies (mostly gaming related). It's so difficult and I feel awful just getting him vouchers as he does actually like having presents to open, he just can't name anything he actually wants!

Atalune · 23/11/2018 09:37

Micro fibre!! Not dinner 🙄

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 23/11/2018 09:55

Tricot tracksuits from boohoo.com are very popular with my 20 year old gym obsessed lad.
Have to have a zip pocket for phone and be skinny fit and they are very reasonably priced at around £30

How about a retro shirt for his team? Or one from a different league? Thinking something like Napoli where it’s a cult shirt.

Fitbit is a great idea, maybe with some home weights and mini tub of protein powder?
