I was wracking my brains to think of what give my in-laws. They have only asked that what we give is consumable as they want for nothing for the house, etc. Previously we've done food gifts, theatre tokens, cinema+restaurant vouchers and that sort of thing.
I was thinking about a hamper but we've done similar before so wasn't sure. Then I thought how about if each of the family make their own contribution? It could be food, drink, oils, photo frame, knitted socks (very unlikely in this household!), candle, etc.
Put the idea to my family and they're all keen (kids are 16, 17, 19) so we're going to decide whether to theme it or keep it random. Although, when they were smaller they always did a craft for grandparents and g-dparents.
Anyway, the long and short of it is I thought I would share the idea if people are stuck and want family to put in equal input to gifting!
