Thread 12 - where we hope Black Friday doesn't turn out to just be slightly grey

@Reastie is obviously busy getting her sprouts on, so I've set up a new thread just to keep us moving.

Previous thread here with Reastie's usual helpful posts.

Remember everyone, it's only a bargain if you need it and check it hasn't been cheaper before/isn't cheaper somewhere else! Happy Thanksgiving Xmas Wink

@ClosedAuraOpenMind thanks I ill get exploding kittens for one of my teenagers Smile

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2018 14:31

beautician I'm holding tight for now. It doesn't seen to be very popular so I'm hoping that means the price will drop further. It looks a fun wee toy but definitely not worth £30.

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 23/11/2018 14:31

Any more ao codes. Pleeeeease x

neddle · 23/11/2018 14:32

Malboro
AO code here

It generates a code for me too, but they can’t be stacked and are only valid on £199+, but I can share that code too.

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 23/11/2018 14:32

Sorry double posted

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 23/11/2018 14:36

Also anyone seen a deal for Leapfrog ice cream cart? Best I can see is £39.99 on smyths

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2018 14:38

Cry babies are reduced to £14.99 at Argos

totallyLosingIt · 23/11/2018 14:44

@Marlboroandmalbec34 not very helpful if you are keen to buy new, but there seems to be loads cropping up on Facebook Marketplace for £10-£20

butterflymum · 23/11/2018 14:46

Just in case someone is looking to buy Google Home Mini/s:

Most places are selling at the reduced price of £29 (some with free delivery) this weekend, however, John Lewis are selling at £25 (plus delivery or click & collect charge).

If you are buying two:
Currys, including free home delivery or click & collect, are offering a further £10 discount if you buy two, so £48 total (code available on their web page).

If you only need one:
Currys, for a purchase of one (so can't combine with above offer), will price match JL, but postage or click & collect are free, so total cost will be £25 (ie no extra cost for postage etc).

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 23/11/2018 14:47

I would love a 2nd hand one but non avail near me x

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2018 14:49

Reastie Argos eBay has this CD player for £22.99 delivered. Pretty good reviews on Amazon too.

DeezMutts · 23/11/2018 14:53

Accidentally bought myself some Joules wellies so that’s negated any savings I’ve made on gifts Blush

I'm still catching up after the longest week in history, so sorry if anyone's posted something recently but I'm after a Birchbox type thing for men. Ideally with a Stella deal on at the moment Grin

Is it just me who wants to know what the greasy chocolates are?!

I’m struggling. I feel stuck, I need to get all 4 dc 2-3 bits for around a fiver. Would be eternally grateful for suggestions!

DD 15 llama mad, cat mad, art mad, Rick and morty mad

DS 10 Pokemon and tablet mad

DD 9 unicorn, girly madness

DS 7 football mad but quite liked Pokemon too

Jammiebammie · 23/11/2018 15:57

£5 each gift bothears or together?

DeezMutts · 23/11/2018 15:58

I don’t think “greasy” chocolates was a typo - it’s prob because Thorntons chocolate tastes (as does a lot of chocolate thanks to palm oil) like brown lard.

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 23/11/2018 16:10

Found them! That is a bargain - thank you Lazybones

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2018 16:10

wellfuckmeinbothears are they stocking filler type things you're looking for? If so try The works- they have lots of llama/cats/unicorn bits (diary, pens, notebook, stress ball, sticky notes) and you get 25% off a £10 spend with code BLACK25
