@Reastie is obviously busy getting her sprouts on, so I've set up a new thread just to keep us moving.

Previous thread here with Reastie's usual helpful posts.

Remember everyone, it's only a bargain if you need it and check it hasn't been cheaper before/isn't cheaper somewhere else! Happy Thanksgiving Xmas Wink

MinorRSole · 23/11/2018 08:01

This is a really good price for this Lego set

PinkDaydreams · 23/11/2018 08:02

Very disappointed with Black Friday. Nothing I have in my amazon basket has gone on offer! Never mind, stops me spending! Wink

OldBrownShoe · 23/11/2018 08:04

Think I’m kidding myself hoping that copic markers go on offer. £279 for a decent sized set 😭😭😭

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2018 08:05

Good Housekeeping link

However, go via TopCashback or Quidco and the Cashback is almost as much as the cost.

AlbusPercival · 23/11/2018 08:06

Thanks for instant pot tip, I’ve fabcied one for a while so taken the plunge

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2018 08:08

Oh, and who was asking about Next? I just got an email about up to 70% off for BF.

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2018 08:09

@OldBrownShoe, there was a thread about those recently on this board and they were half price, so you may be lucky.

Moltenpink · 23/11/2018 08:10

Prices seem to have gone down on joules eBay outlet

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 23/11/2018 08:17

@AtSea1979 I second the TK Maxx recommendation for soap. Lots of lovely-smelling and beautifully packaged bars in there. I am a soap fiend and it's where I get mine.

lauraiom · 23/11/2018 08:22

@OldBrownShoe craftstash have 20% off copic markers with code BFCOPIC20 Smile

RemyRelax · 23/11/2018 08:22

@PinkDaydreams I’m feeling the same. I have bought things at better prices earlier in the month. It’s not been half as good as previous years.

WhirlwindHugs · 23/11/2018 08:24

Character.com have a voucher deal, spend £20 get £5 and so on. Their clearance section is always good too.

PinkDaydreams · 23/11/2018 08:25

@RemyRelax I’ve nearly finished my Christmas and birthday shopping but was hoping for a couple of extras. I’m the same as you, bought things cheaper earlier in the month which I’m glad I did rather than hold out for today!

chaosisaladder · 23/11/2018 08:31

Oh god I think I might have to get the instant pot then!

I've spent so much over the last week. All on stuff that we wanted for the house (new mattress etc) and got brilliant deals but still am feeling nervy about the amount of money we've burned through 😬 I'm usually such a tight arse!

cuddles159 · 23/11/2018 08:31

I know many of you want for the green and blacks chocolate but if you missed it, i went into Tescos this morning and they had Thorntons half price 5.00

Ancestry DNA kit is down to £49 on Amazon - cheapest I’ve seen it and includes postage, rather than having to add the additional postage from the ancestryDNA kit.co.uk website.

Could be a good one for tricky DHs/DWs/DParents.

OldBrownShoe · 23/11/2018 08:32

@lauraiom thank you so much! Plus an extra 20% off for signing up to their mailing list!

EightToSixer · 23/11/2018 08:41

All I got for Black Friday was three months supply of cat food.

Oh and there are some great prices on boys under armour stuff. I just got my 12 year old sports mad DS a few items, Inc a smart-ish black Polo for £7 and hoody for £13.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 23/11/2018 08:42

Thanks for the magazine subscription idea!

Via topcashback I got £4, and paid £5 for 5 months of good housekeeping. So only cosy £1!

No idea how payment works though. I've set up a DD apparently, to renew after 6 months. So I presume I just cancel that after the initial £5 has gone out?!

I8toys · 23/11/2018 09:08

Black Friday spends - Got Under Armour stuff for the dh, truth bombs game and bucket of doom, Fireball, Greta Van Fleet CD - all Amazon. Rituals spend £50 and get a free candle worth £21.

Changingagain · 23/11/2018 09:08

Halfords have some black Friday reductions on kids bikes.

butterflymum · 23/11/2018 09:15

@CaseStudyResearch

....the ad on Ancestry says £49 plus shipping.

butterflymum · 23/11/2018 09:19

....and on the specific Ancestry site you gave the address for, it also says shipping is extra.

20%off at the white company. I really want to try the pine oil but I've filled a basket of £150 that I don't really need but I do want.

Also bought the red beauty box last night
