@Reastie is obviously busy getting her sprouts on, so I've set up a new thread just to keep us moving.

Previous thread here with Reastie's usual helpful posts.

Remember everyone, it's only a bargain if you need it and check it hasn't been cheaper before/isn't cheaper somewhere else! Happy Thanksgiving Xmas Wink

@winterisstillcoming, how did you get that deal?

AtSea1979 · 22/11/2018 23:03

Just ordered a few Molton Brown things. The 25% I saved probably went on delivery.

I didn’t get hand soap as it was over budget. If someone says they like soap do they mean a nice bar of soap?

CookieSwirlC · 22/11/2018 23:05

Atsea I was in TK Maxx this morning and they had a load of gorgeous looking and smelling soaps for under £5 I’m sure.

nordicwannabe · 22/11/2018 23:07

Obama Llama is coming up on prime lightning deals early hours of the morning. I remember someone was looking for it.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/11/2018 23:09

@AtSea1979 a Baylis and Harding set. I usually find Boots a good price for those.

@hmslfc thanks for the Roald Dahl monopoly tip. I hadn't even seen it but think I would prefer that to the fortnite version, or maybe both, undecided. I'm also watching cards against humanity.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/11/2018 23:11

Harry Potter trivial pursuit coming up on amazon tomorrow morning.

winterisstillcoming · 22/11/2018 23:19

@NoWordForFluffy Amazon pantry have 10 off 30 then something weird happened as it took my delivery off if I added the bar of chocolate. Just copy my basket lol

MinorRSole · 22/11/2018 23:25

Qwertee have some nice t-shirts reduced to £4 for the geek in your life. I've got 3 so have stocked up!

whenwillthetwitchstrike · 22/11/2018 23:25

Who was looking for a This Works pillow spray? There is a full size one included in the Good Housekeeping beauty box which is now £37.50. Obviously that is more than the spray would cost along but if you happen to want some of the other 11 items yourself or can gift any of those items, that is pretty bargainous.

ShesABelter · 22/11/2018 23:36

Managed to get the 2x morphe palettes and brush set my dd wanted, Adidas zip up for my dh for 45 instead of 65, and dressing gown, slippers and pjs for the kids from Debs and the isotoner slippers someone recommended for my dad a couple of threads ago for 14 instead of 28. Thanks everyone great bargains!

lauryloo · 22/11/2018 23:42

@MonkeyfaceThereturn did you get sorted for a dressing gown. If not, send me a message as I managed to reserve one

makingmiracles · 23/11/2018 00:07

To the person asking about soap, faomburst are always nice, specially when on offer for £2 which they are regularly, lots of different lovely smells, alternatively if you want to spend a bit more, fengel is really nice, smells sort of sherberty imo but is usually £5-7 a bottle. I really like the body shop fruity type gels too, the satsuma one is my fave, smells amazing.

MathematicsTutor · 23/11/2018 00:23

That Amazon Pantry glitch is all about choosing things you want that are both in the 4 items from one list needed for free delivery alongside the £30 spend to get £10 off.
I found £30 worth of items including three that were in the free delivery set and added the chocolate bar.
Not sure how winterisstillcoming got £15.99 off rather than the £12.99 I got but I am still happy but wish I had spotted that glitch last time when I ordered £30 of studd PLUS 4 things for free delivery.

SimplyPut · 23/11/2018 00:29

Looking for bargain men's leather boots... has anyone seen a particularly good deal?

Becles · 23/11/2018 01:21

8 year old nephew has announced that he wants lego. Help! blocks? Themes? What is the lego trend situation at the moment and given I've got his stuff already what can I get for a max £15?

Ohmygoodmess · 23/11/2018 01:30

Luvabella Dolls are on Amazons deal of the day for £46.49, cheapest elsewhere seems to be £69.99

MinorRSole · 23/11/2018 01:31

I would go for ninjago or Harry Potter Lego. For your budget you would get change from a ninjago flyer but that might be a little young for him (ds is 6 and ninjago mad but an 8 year old may have moved on to hp by now)

Argos have a lot of Lego in their black Friday event so if you're buying from amazon might be worth comparing to Argos price.

IceLemonGin · 23/11/2018 03:24

@sunshineNdaisies B&M are selling Actifrys in their Black Friday event for £79 in-store

SymphonyofShadows · 23/11/2018 05:02

Got woken up by DS turning every light on in the house to go to the loo and decided to log onto Currys. Got £160 off the Sonos Play 5 that I wanted for myself, plus 8% discount through a work scheme. Thrilled with that!

wornoutboots · 23/11/2018 05:20

Anyone seen a bag or backpack that an 8 year old boy would consider cool, but not costing more than £5 and not star wars nor fortnight?

and something big for a 6 year old boy costing no more than £25?
I could get him a wiggle car but I'm not sure he'll use it

SweetPeaPods · 23/11/2018 05:40

Becles Amazon have a marvel Lego set under £15 if he’s into super heroes?

duriandurian · 23/11/2018 05:58

@SantasFavouriteHo Christmas on Exeter Street was recommended on MN to me a long time ago and my 5 & 9 yos love it.
Republished now so Amazon sell and had on deal last year too

jjemimapuddleduck · 23/11/2018 06:02

Hello,

Roald Dahl Monopoly is still the original price. Is it definitely on a lightning deal please (sorry, I don't know how to check this)?

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 23/11/2018 06:10

AtSea- "nice soap" was always what my Mum asked for, definitely means bars of soap I reckon. L'Occitane is fab and scents the whole house. Check out also Nesti Dante Italian soaps- always in Tk Maxx but some nice gift boxes on Amazon too.
MonkeyFace- just realised who you are, you won't know me as am serial n/c but hello!

Bangwhistlepop2 · 23/11/2018 06:21

@Becles I'd leave the lego set for his birthday or for another relation to get as you've already bought his gifts. He'll get loads of presents from other people anyway.
