i'm pretty much done now. Bought the most expensive item today - a new bass guitar for ds. Music is his passion and future career so he does need decent kit. Mind you £500 was a sore one. thats all he's getting plus a t-shirt and some aftershave. that's 3 presents to open for what to me is a serious amount of money!

The card factory everything £1 is just the sale items. I popped in today and it was pretty much just valentine bears and Disney mugs. Picked up a few mugs but were only £2.99 to start with so not a great bargain.

@Lovelylovelysleep Nintendo switch appears to be the popular choice for 8 year olds. My 7 year old has a Nintendo ds & it's great for travelling so going with the switch too.
