So I am putting together a "self-care" box for a lady I know who's had a tough year, but don't know massively well. Single mum, mid 30s. So far I've got:
Christmas socks
Face masks
Pretty nail polish
Nice biscuits
Possibly a book
Pencils with positive quotes

Budget is small (about £10-£15). Would love some suggestions as to what you would all love to receive

In Poundland they sell gorgeous Epsom salts scented with lavender or Eucalyptus for a long soak. Makes your skin so soft and you do feel cleansed after using them.
Hand cream
Lip balm
Fruit teas or hot chocolate sachets
A pretty notebook (Wilkos do lovely ones very cheaply) for doing some journalling, life-listing etc.

Sachets of fancy frothy coffee; gingerbread latte is my treat to myself on this week's shopping list Smile

Hand cream
Lavender oil or scented candle - geranium also really good for uplifting/relaxing.
Mini colouring book & pens/pencils (The Range are good for inexpensive ones)
Relaxing foot mask
As an alternative to a book there are some nice self care/mindfulness type magazines around too...

There's a company called Blurt foundation that do cards with different self care ideas. If you have a little time there are loads of self care 'to do lists' on Pinterest - you could print some off and make your own.

Book voucher, block candle with holder.
And as PP said, Wilko's stationary is amazing atm, and cheap!
(I got lovely notebooks + matching pens as techers gifts.)
