Suggestions for DH advent calendar

Hi everyone.

So every year my DH buys me a lovely advent calendar. This year he's brought me the Cath Kidston one.
I don't want to just get him a normal chocolate one this year so I've decided to make him one Confused

I'm going to do him chocolate every other day but need some ideas for what to do the other 12 days.

I don't want to spend a fortune but want it to be more personal than the Thornton's chocolate one I get him every year!

Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated Smile

I saw a beer one the other day in Morrison's. I know that's not what you asked though, sorry

I'm making 1 for my friend. I bought cheap one from Poundland then removed the chocolate.

On each door I have printed a photo of her on it. Inside each door there are surprises such as candles, tea lights, a small pack of biscuits, a small pack of cheese biscuits, chocolate or a scratch card.

@dementedpixie

Yeah I've seen those, and the gin ones, but he's not a big drinker so it would be a waste...
I just wanted to do something a bit more personal this year as he always makes an effort with mine and he's had a crappy chocolate one off me for 16 years!

@WheresTheEvidence

That's a lovely idea.
Screatcards are a good idea too! Thanks

There's been loads of different ones this year. Asda apparently has a cheese one! B&M had a biscuit one and there are fancier chocolate ones too. My kids like the lindt ones (They get the one at £5 Not the £10 one). Socks, cufflinks, keyring? I think it's harder to find small things for men tbh
