DD aged 9 wants a robot for Christmas - any ideas?

I have asked if she wants to build it herself and she says yes. Does anyone have any ideas of one that is not too difficult nor too expensive?

Anyone know anything about this one or have any alternative suggestions? She loves Lego and I wondered if there might be a Lego robot but the only one I can find is over £100 which is more than I am willing to spend! If anyone has any thoughts I would be very grateful!

Does she like Lego? We’ve bought the Lego Boost for our robot-mad son

Thanks - really useful links. She loves Lego - I have just watched a video of the Lego Boost and it does look amazing! Seems to do so many things! I will have to hope for a massive bargain somewhere in the next few weeks!...

We have just finished building the LEGO boost from last year, never ones to rush! It is really good and dc love it, it is helping with their coding skills and they don't even realize. It is fun and cool. It builds up so isn't a once only thing.
