Mp3 player? What do I need?

I need advice. I've bought dd a karaoke microphone for Xmas which has Bluetooth. I'd like to get her an mp3 player as well but not sure what to get that would work with it. We don't generally have loads of cds or music downloads as we use Spotify. Is there a way to download music from Spotify onto an mp3 player? Or are there mp3 players with WiFi that you can use Spotify on?

Bumping for you as have the same question! I found one called Mighty which might be what you’re after. Doesn’t solve my issue however as I’d like something that will play audio books too.

Thank you. That looks good, but only available in the US or inflated price. I think I might have to go without Spotify and pay to download some music instead. She'd probably like audio books too but I've no idea how they work!

could you buy a cheap smartphone without a SIM so there's wifi only access. you can download from from Spotify to the devise (you could even make sure phone doesn't connect automatically to Wi-Fi if you would prefer)
