Fish Christmas Lunch

DH wants fish for Christmas Day. I’m fine with this as am done with making a glorified roast.

Any ideas for what? Has anyone cooked something fish based and still a bit special and festive? Thanks

Koulibiac! Stunning to look at. Lots of different layers to make, so it will be time-consuming, but it's very impressive. Plus everyone loves a pie.

Oven baked whole turbot is spectacular.

Or a whole Dover sole is always a treat.

New potatoes and a combination of green vegetables such as green beans & Romanesco cauliflower, or perhaps those stubby little French carrots (Chantenay?) would be my choice.

Halibut in a cream and champagne sauce (can add little brown shrimp too), new potatoes, green beans, tender stem broccoli. Yum!
