Paperback book, cheap DVD, Harry Potter goodies from Primark.

Depends what he’s into really. Boys of my acquaintance at that age might have enjoyed Lego mini kits or blind bags, pocket insect spotters guides, tiny Nerf guns, collectible card game expansions, new Wimpy Kid instalments, small Airfix kits, gimmicky rubbers and pencil sharpeners, windup torch, favourite sweets/biscuits.

BehemothPullsThePeasantsPlough · 15/11/2018 16:13

Oh, and Warhammer paint.

flowerpot1000000 · 15/11/2018 16:18

HotInWinter · 15/11/2018 16:26

Mine is a tiny bit younger, but i did the list this afternoon.
Shower gel
Reading book
Puzzle book
Chocolate coins
Top trumps - Elements, tho i did consider the poo set.
Honey in a comb, because we've talk about it recently
Bath bomb
Can of coke ('cause even tho he doesn't believe in Santa, there is no way Mummy would buy that!)

His little brother is getting a flow ring thingy. Could do with something a bit magical /fiddly/sciency to add to it. Or I might just double up on flow rings. It's all got to come home in a suitcase, and pretty much be bought on Amazon!

isittheholidaysyet · 15/11/2018 16:26

Things mine got around that age:

Novelty Christmas socks, hats etc.
Novelty Christmas chocs/sweets
Book
Ear phones
Usb extra power charger thing
Second hand characters for computer games (skylanders, Disney infinity, Lego dimensions etc)
Spare nerf bullets
Something for the bathroom (toiletries or novelty bath games)
Something to do...game, 3D jigsaw, pyrography kit, Lego, Christmas biscuits to ice.
Food: Pringles, fizzy pop, cheesestrings, sugar laden cereal (whatever you normally say no to in a supermarket!)
Clothes
Pyjamas

Goingonandonandon · 15/11/2018 16:26

a head massager, headphones, odd socks, a reading light, a dictionary bookmark, his own mug for tea and his favorite biscuits.

Goingonandonandon · 15/11/2018 16:27

Done my xmas shopping today!

I am also getting him this www.firebox.com/Stranger-Things-Monopoly/p8650 but it's not a stocking filler. And also a Gopro camera as his main present.

TheMythOfFingerprints · 15/11/2018 16:28

@Howmanysleepstilchristmas where are the fortnite socks from?

TheMythOfFingerprints · 15/11/2018 21:59

Yeah, just sachets of dehydrated food. Labelled astronaut food, wasn't too bad tbh.

ALemonyPea · 15/11/2018 22:03

Debenhams have some great things in their 3for2 stuff. Mini harmonica, rubiks cube, slime, fiddly things etc

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 16/11/2018 18:32

Fortnite socks are everywhere! Amazon have them, I took a chance and ordered from wish (£3 with postage).
