I’m looking for something for 2 or more players. Not monopoly (dh is waaay too competitive at monopoly!). We have trivial pursuit. Don’t want anything that takes too long to pick up. Can anyone recommend anything?

Santorini, Azul (better choice but harder to pick up, good you tube tutorials on it), Carcassonne.

Much more options what game length and if your happy to do a little more learning, but depends on if you are looking more social (trivial pursuits) or more board gamey

Dixit - quite lateral thinking, best with four or five, probably unlike anything you’ve played before
Camel Up - a very silly premise, based on betting on camel racing, but working out what outcomes are likely/possible to place your bets can get pretty taxing.

Isle of Skye is a bit more complex to learn, but due to the way the game gets set up the tactics are different every time you play, so it keeps you on your toes.

Hive, Splendor and Patchwork are all good games just for for two.
