I do like it but it’s just not a john Lewis Christmas advert if that makes sense. It’s very well filmed.

I think I’m one of the few that absolutely loves it! I got all watery-eyed at the end. Although to be fair dd has been sleeping appallingly recently, so could just be in absolutely shattered and losing it now

WWYDhelpplease that’s exactly what I said, it’s a nice advert but doesn’t feel JL Christmas advert.

I used to eagerly anticipate the JL Christmas ad, but the last 3 have been really 'meh'. I sobbed my heart out at Monty the Penguin and Man on the Moon - thought they were bloody brilliant. Can't get too excited about this one though. I mean, it's nice ... but it doesn't give me those warm, festive feels.
